The Good Doctor season 4, episode 5, 2 to 1

.......and there it is. After 7 long years in the mighty Teamsters 155 group 2 division, I finally moved up to group 1. (One of the requirements of this union. (Job protection? Probably.) I am now number 463 on the group 1 senority list.......

......the day before I was number 2 on the group 2 list.
One of the cast wanted to see an old picture of myself, well, this is about as old (or young) as it gets!
Ahhhhh, the fall colours, so beautiful!
The chestnut doesn't fall from the tree! Actually, Ritsue educated me today. I didn't realize there was more than one type of chestnut tree around the area. I'm used to the bigger, rounder ones, but today I was introduced to......
....these smaller ones. Ritsue made a dish of these chestnuts and rice, and I must admit it was quite tasty!
A couple of Sundays ago we watched a Save a Child's Heart charity event on Zoom. It featured the Good Doctor himself, Freddie Highmore, as well as Dr. Reznick (Fiona Gubelmann), the show's creator, David Shore, and host and star of House, Lisa Edelstein.
You never know what you are going to see at the Bridge Studios. That is one well trained dog.
Standing by for cast on 8th Ave. in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver.
.....you never know what your assignment will be on any given day. Today it was going to a store in Kitsilano to pick-up these nifty tap dancing shoes....
Filming a "date night" scene at Confederation Park in Burnaby.
The lighting department have outdone themselves again.......
......I wouldn't want to be the guy stuck in the basket at the top of that lift, no thank-you!
.....random, waiting for my coffee at Our Town cafe in Mount Pleasant, pic.......
.....standing by to take cast home, albeit in the office, with my feet up, watching game 6 of the World Series, lol. Tough job!
Stage 4 at the Bridge Studio. Due to covid, all I can do these days is look from the outside at our sets. This is part of the hospital offices.
On a Friday night I took a walk around the studio and ended up at the top of the parkade, which has a lovely view of the Brentwood area of Burnaby.
Aha! This is where the "striped tomato" (from past seasons of the Good Doctor) is hiding.
More election mail, this time the International Brotherhood of Teamsters' union officer elections.
The topsy-turvy world of film. Yes, lunch was at 17:00 (5 p.m.), Lunch is always 6 hours after crew call.
Still standing by, waiting to take one of that group home. (Dr. Lim, Dr. Browne, Dr. Andrews, Dr. Park, and the newest, Dr. Wolke)
....back down in Kits, waiting for my cast pick-up time to arrive. Today was not nearly as windy and murky as.....
.......the next day.....
A little fun for Halloween, spooky covid temperature check arm bands. (Man look at the wrinkles on this old man, lol.)
Dr. Reznick was getting into the Halloween spirit with her unicorn get-up,lol.
One more night until Halloween and a full super blue moon.
Last Friday night we filmed up on the 5th floor of the parkade. This time it was my rear-view mirror that had the view of Brentwood.

Well, this picture sums up how we were all feeliing after having just worked 16 of the previous 18 days.
It became clear, right after this burn barrel scene with Dr. Reznick and Dr. Park., that our filming marathon was done, A two day week-end? Say whatttttttttt???
