Fraturday X2

Well well, after the Christmas hiatus, it was time to get back to work. First, head to the car wash.....
....2nd, on the 1st day of January, park at stall #1 at the airport and wait to pick-up the executive producer and his family.

.....take a peek at Mt. Baker, before I head to the studio.....

At the front of the studio, are they cleaning up a mess?.....
Something is going on, hmnnnn......
Well, it's all gone now, and you're going to have to wait until episode 14 of season 6 of the Good Doctor to find out!
We spent one morning filming very close to Stanley Park.
Had a chance to go for dinner with junior and his girlfriend, Yani. I love the River's Reach pub in New Westminster.
Sunday was a kinda traditional Japanese breakfast morning. Yum!
One of the many cast driving duties, lol, washing one of the cast member's vehicle.
You never know what you are going to see at the Bridge Studios. This Lamborghini is a beaut! (may see it onscreen in the future as well. (That's all I'm saying.)
Bling bling.
The random, close-up of my pyjamas, pic.
....round and round, Commercial Drive and Veneables heading downtown for my next pick-up.
We spent one night filming at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Our circus was across from Rogers Arena......
......and B.C. Place.
The Art Gallery. I love filming downtown.
Not a bad parking spot. (You're welcome Microsoft)
This was day one of the Good Lawyer. (that's all I am going to say.)
Day two was out in Langley at a farm. (I don't think Teamster peep John will be donning those sneakers at this wet and muddy location.)
Well, here are all the cast vehicles lined up for what will be 2 night shoots and one heck of a Fraturday. (Haven't had to do this for a very long time, and hope it will be a very long time before I have to do it again.)
Not giving anything away. The balloon light team setting up as well as the rest of the crew.
Day 2 of the Good Lawyer, day 1 of the all night rain towers. (even though it was raining)
Say vaaatttttttt????? Lunch at 10 p.m? The craziness of the film industry.
Day 2 and the Fraturday. (After I took the Good Doctor home, I got home at 07:30 a.m.) The actors had to be in those rain towers all night, with temperatures hovering around freezing.
Ya, that's what I came home to. Bedtime at sunrise, how topsy-turvy. Tomorrow is filming day 9 of the pilot of the Good Lawyer, starring Kennedy McMann (Nancy Drew) and Felicity Huffman.

Post hiatus.......

Really didn't do a lot on the 17 day Christmas hiatus from the Good Doctor season 6. One night was watching the Canucks........

The last days before the hiatus, hanging out at false creek....
......moving the camera truck from the Glassman house to the hospital cafeteria (VCC), I experienced a bit of a tire issue. (resolved the next day)
Hey, one of my favourite cast driving peeps, Greg, came by and helped us out for a couple of days. He just finished working on the third season of Upload.
Last night of filming before the hiatus, when those lights went off, well, that's a wrap, and I was out of there!
Ritsue and I like to think we are good luck for the Canucks. They have been having trouble winning at home. Dec. 3rd they won in overtime against the Phoenix Coyotes and we were there.
......way to go boys!
....lots of travel in and out of YVR in December. On this night I was waiting on one of the executive producers, who was up for a couple of days.
The night we were waiting for! Finally the episode aired that had Ritsue front and center as the hospital doctors and staff listened to a speech from Dr. Andrews.
The construction shop at the studio is always up to something. Hmnnnnnn?
Closer to the hiatus, another night waiting downtown in the rain for an executive producer.
Oh ya, the perks of being on the Good Doctor, prime parking in Yaletown, lol.
Last day of 2022, time to clear the board for all the new adventures 2023 will hopefully bring.
The reminiscing, waiting for cast by Kitsilano pool, only 3 more days until the hiatus, pic.
The lobby of the Sutton hotel becomes very festive this time of year.
Sun rises on the 2nd to last day.......
Diversity at the studio....
The standard Christmas tree.....
....and there it is!
.....ha ha, yes, Festivus is an option!
Another beauty start to the day. Only one more sleep!
.....and how would I spend my first hiatus day off?
Then the weather got really cold. Ritsue did everything she could to provide for the hummingbirds.
All those weather issues sure makes one thirsty, lol.
It was quite a couple of days.
We did manage to get out and enjoy the winter wonderland.
Hey, wait up, I'm trudging as fast I can!
I'd say that's close to a foot right there!
The picture postcard from our balcony, pic.
It was great to get out to another good ole hockey game.....
Our first time to see the N.H.L's newest team, the Seattle Kraken.
Let's go!
Quite a game, 5 - 5 after regulation. The Canucks won it in a shoot-out. The team can thank us for being there!
Ritsue hammin' it up for Christmas dinner.....
Very festive!
Christmas Eve. Dinner with the kids and their significant others.
Ho ho ho, that was a Merry Christmas indeed. Happy New Year! All the best in 2023!
