Times up.....

As the writer and actor's strike drags on (146 days and counting), you find things to do that you may or may not of tried to accomplish before. On this day, I actually went out and picked an abundant amount of blackberries, for which I created my new, in my world, famous blackberry pancakes. Yum-yum!

The old man in me loves a walk when I'm not bumping into anyone else.
The random, sun bouncing off the windows of the condo tower across from me, pic.

Our last baseball game for this year. A little different, went for the Extreme Katsu Japanese hot dog. It was actually quite a treat, for a hot dog, that is.
The mandatory selfie outside of Nat Bailey Stadium.
It seems to me Wasabi has been winning most of the mascot races these days. I don't ever remember the chopstick twins even coming close!
While we await the outcome of the WGA and SAG/AFTRA strikes, I have had plenty of time to walk about my hood. This is the first time I have seen this kind of fungus among us.
No she wasn't, but she should of been. Ritsue nailed it modelling her Kimono holding a Sapporo beer at the Nikkei Matsuri Festival earlier this month. I would drink it for this picture alone, lol.
Wow, Ritsue's tiny balcony garden is showing big results, just look at those radishes!
Labor day in the Highgate neighborhood where we be residing. Edmonds Park was the venue, so many of the community came out to support all of the unions representing so many workers. Unfortunately the mighty Teamsters I am a part of were not represented.
The out for a walk, selfie, pic.
When Auntie (sis) came to town for a visit we toured around a little bit. On this Saturday we went down to Crab Park in Vancouver. Quite a contrast. You have the North Shore mountains and North Vancouver in the background, the Port of Vancouver on the right, and the homeless tent city in Crab Park on the left.
I bet this homeless encampment is not on the tour itinerary for those folks getting off of that cruise ship.
Not very often the 3 siblings get together, it was long overdue.
Oh ya! Auntie brought us some eggs from her and Unk's chickens!
Without further ado, it was Omelette time! (we also used the fresh pepperoni she also brought us, yum-yum!)
The sun is setting sooner and sooner these fall days (fall?, boy did that ever sneak up on us), which means leaving the house earlier for the evening stroll.
What a lovely picture of Junior and his gal Yani.
The not so random, trucks from the olden days. I saw this pic online on the Berry & Smith Trucking website. I used to work for this company many moons ago, and guess what, I still remember that day and I took that picture. (I was the rookie on the crew, so I was relegated to the "Cornbinder" on the left. (A 1967 International as I recall, could be wrong.)
The extra, nice shot of the moon from the balcony, pic.

Well, they came to an agreement last night. Let's see if the Writer's Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television producers agreement will get us back to filming the Good Doctor again. Fingers crossed.
