GD 507

Filming on location last week, a nice view of downtown Vancouver from Burnaby heights.

We watched episode 4 of season 5, and there it was!

Haha, Ritsue pointing out my patient status on the show.

A fine ham feast on our Canadian thanksgiving.
I was trying to get some information off of my old cell phone. Now I remember why I got a new one.
5 degrees Celsius and raining....... I think staying cozy in my cast ride at the studio is the correct decision.

An early morning pick-up close to the Quayside Marina in Yaletown.
Cannot say a lot about this picture of this ball park in Cloverdale, but it may or may not involve a beer league baseball team which one of our main cast members may or may not be a part of, lol.
Waiting for cast downtown, you never know what you're going to see....
One of my favourite views of the North Shore is when I'm travelling north on Boundary Rd. On this day we were filming in a neighbourhood in Burnaby Heights, and my view was looking south on Boundary Rd.
On the week-end past, had a chance to enjoy a cappuccino at the Belgian Chocolate Cafe in Yaletown.....
.......and to meet Ritsue's friends Vladimir and Kate, who were here from Toronto.
After that it was time to head to B.C. Place.......
......to meet up with junior and enjoy a beverage at.......
....the B.C. Lion's football game. It was nice to get out, unfortunately the Lions seemed to be lacking any enthusiasm to put on a good show for the home fans. They lost to the Calgary Stampeders 39-10, booooooo! (They have been outscored in their last 2 games 84-10)

Meanwhile, back on the Good Doctor, Dr. Murphy is really starting to get upset with all the changes Salen, (Rachel Bay Jones) the new owner of the hospital, is implementing. Stay tuned!

The lead up to the long......

Another great start to the week, so beautiful. Everything is great this week because after working two 6 day weeks in a row, we got a 3 day long week-end for the Canadian thanksgiving, woo hoo!

Hahaha, sorry, wrong holiday!

Well, this should be fun. I got a YVR pass to go out on the runway.....
....to pick-up Dr. Wolke (Noah Galvin), who came in from California on a private jet. Nice!
The set of the show the Midnight Club, which was filming beside our stages, has finally been dismantled....
.....one day later, the next show to film at the Bridge Studios has started construction.
Cast driving isn't all glamour, lol. On this night I had to take the dirty linens from the props department to the dry-cleaners.
Stop theif! This 3-legged racoon was out on the prowl by our stages on this night. (and I'm sure most nights when we are not there..)
Well, thank goodness this was not a real accident, just a picture car for another show at the Bridge studios.
The red light flashing at stage 3 means were still filming. (This time Friday was not a fraturday, actually got home jsut before midnight, lol.)
Meanwhile, junior is having fun with his new camera.

I get a notice from B.C. lottery when I win something, and it's usually this, sigh. One day........
Some shots from season 5 episode 2....
....I've enjoyed the first two....
.......oh oh, trouble a brewing from Salen, on the right...... (but she's such a nice person to drive....)
....ha ha ha, and some pics from the 3rd episode of season 5. I remember them hauling that barrel and those grapes up to the Glassman house, fun!
.....the invites.....
.....Dr. Murphy is not impressed.....
.....and that's how to end a week, Dr. Wolke and Dr. Allen killin' it, ya baby!

Quiet 6 day week......

Hanging outside, actually staying dry inside my cast vehicle outside of stage 9, at the Bridge Studios.

Another early cast pick-up, but it was beautiful looking out over the water by Kits Beach.
Next day outside the condo, the foggy and rainy morning must be signalling the transition from summer to fall and winter.

The trying to pry a window that will never open because it is part of a set on another show, pic.
Kelly, in charge of our snack truck, showing what appears to be one angry watermelon.
Hill Harper, who plays Dr. Andrews on the show decided that the entire crew needed Frosty's from Wendy's on this late evening. Much appreciated!
Last Saturday morning I was down by the convention centre waiting to pick-up a couple of guests of the show.
The Good Doctor himself had a visit from his parents. They spent some time on Salt Spring Island, and then flew in to Vancouver Harbour on a float plane. They flew out to London later that day.
The "Lions" were peeking above the North Shore Mountains.
Later that same day, it was a diffrent view of Burrard Inlet, waiting to pick-up Dr. Reznick.
A very generous gift to the cast and crew, and so early into season 5!
Another early morning cast pick-up, waiting with my ride at L'Hermitage on Richards.
On this sixth day Saturday of episode 5 of season 5 of the Good Doctor, all the action was outside of the emergency ward.
Dr. Reznick and Dr. Park are rarin' to go!
Production treated us to the Charlie Bar coffee truck. The ladies who own the truck were really showing the love!
...and not much action inside the ER ward. (Another sad selfie, lol.)
There goes fellow Teamster peep John, with his new ride. (Actually they were finished with the truck in the scene and he was moving it to picture car parking.)
Louie the caterer made me the menu model of the day! (Ya, I know we're spoiled.)
Meanwhile, one of our cast drivers from season 4, Eric, has decided chilling in Paraguay was more inviting then coming back for season 5. Good on him!
