GD3, Road Trip!

Episode 310 of the Good Doctor took us to many places in the Lower Mainland. On this day, a view of the work trucks on Terminal Ave., facing towards downtown.
More evidence that fall has arrived. A rainy morning on Homer St., waiting for my first cast pick-up of the day.

A blast from the past. On this morning I was picking up a cast member on Beatty Street. This is the same area Dr. Murphy (Freddie Highmore) lived in season 1 and Dr. Browne (Antonia Thomas lived in season 2).

Later in the week our base camp was parked near Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver.

One location was at a cemetery in Vancouver...…..
…….where I did get to stand by on this beautiful tree-lined street.

Another morning, another wait, this time at Kingsway and Broadway, where 2 of our cast members live nearby.

Fast forward to us finishing our day on Terminal Ave., across from the sky-train.

The old Greyhound bus station behind set has been transformed into the handicapped bus parking lot.

It's supposed to be fall, but that 2 degrees it looking more winter-ish. What a chilly start to the morning.
Many locations this week. Part of this day was at this old apartment building in the Mt. Pleasant area.

Many cast from Los Angeles commented on the fall colours.

The sunrise from my place gave a hint of the glorious fall day to follow.

On set today, our craft service, (snack truck) was raving about this new donut shop.
Omg, which one??????

Dr. Murphy (Freddie Highmore), and his roommate Lea, (Paige Spara) have made their choices.

Myself, I caved, and went for the apple fritter. (It was sooooooo worth it!)

Another day, this time in the farm country of Delta.

That tractor is outstanding in it's field.

I never did find out what kind of berries these were.

Living and driving in the city, it was so refreshing to see farm life, including these horsies!

Where else would you find a pumpkin, squash, pay by donation, stand.
Friday night we were in Surrey. I arrived from Vancouver a little late, and had to get to the back of the lunch line at the catering trucks, woe is me.

A motel in Surrey, this is how I spent my Fraturday. (I was not a patron, lol.  Although we did see some interesting goings on over the course off the evening.)

Meanwhile, back in Japan, my brother Skip and his girlfriend had their picture taken with the Webb Ellis trophy, awarded to the Rugby World Cup champions. This year Japan is the host country.

Back in Alberta, wow! My niece Baby Tami made a very cool hairdo change!
That's it, next week, the road trip continues!
