The Good Doctor, episode 301

Well, here we go! First day of filming on season 3 of The Good Doctor. Once again, at my familiar post, standing by on set. Today we were back at Dr. Glassman's house in the Shaughnessy neighbourhood of Vancouver.

Back at the studio, all is quiet outside of San Jose St. Bonaventure hospital.

One more day, and the hospital will be fully operational once again.

How is it possible this apartment building is inside the studio? Hmmnnn…….

Good to see my Teamster peeps once again.

We spent the last part of the first day of filming at the old R.C.M.P. training building on Heather St. in Vancouver. We spent a ton of time filming Valley of the Boom here last spring.

The housing crisis in Vancouver is everywhere. I was picking up some food items for our caterers at Yen Bros. produce close to downtown. This picture shows only a fraction of the motor homes and cars people are living in on this street.

Another one of my duties, taking this item for repair. This was for our special effects department. The name on the case made me very curious...….

…...I probably shouldn't have, but I opened the case. It was some sort of remote control for setting off explosives on set.

Always good when a coffee truck shows up on set. (Honestly, because it's usually free!)

A very nice gesture from Sony pictures, who paid for the truck.
Meanwhile, here's junior chillin' in Pula, Croatia

So, there is something called the Monte Carlo International T.V. audience awards. Well, this year, the Good Doctor won for Best Drama worldwide, with a global audience of 47.7 million, who'da thunk it?
….from the web....

So fitting, I've had my name spelled wrong so many times!

A typical day for back-ground performers on set.
