The wheels on the bus go round and round........

A nice fall morning down on False Creek, waiting to pick-up the producer of the Good Doctor. (working on the 9th episode this week, while the 3rd episode of season 2 will air tonight on ABC and CTV.)
Some fun behind the scenes, Freddie Highmore holding the slate at the start of season 2.

From the first episode of the 2nd season, Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and Dr. Jared Kalu (Chuku Modo) have a moment. We miss Chuku (he transferred to another hospital in the show), and I, and many fans, hope the network can find a way to bring him back.

The waiting game. (Freddie, Antonia Thomas (Dr. Browne), Fiona Gubelmann (Dr. Reznick), and Will Yun Lee (Dr. Park).

All business, for now, Mike Listo, executive producer and director, and Chris Faloona, the director of photography.
Nice of our producer to invite me, and 3 other Teamster peeps to his private suite at B.C. Place stadium to see a Vancouver Whitecaps soccer game.

At the Bridge Studios, this little mystery showed up in a shipping crate.

Turns out, fellow Teamster Rocky bought it and brought it onto the show. It will be used to move cast trailers around, and is a lot easier to use in the studio's tight quarters, than the traditional trucks that the industry normally uses.

The interest from the Teamster clan grows...….
The only benefit of an early start, no traffic as I head north on Cambie towards the downtown core.

We do not go out on the road much this season. A nice change to hang out on Kingsway and Fraser in East Van., for a restaurant scene.

Across the street fellow Teamster's Ward and Mike found the coffee spot, Matchstick. (my latte was devine)

I drive this way almost daily, and I never new our location, the Crowbar, was even there. Apparently it is quite popular.

Back at our base camp at the Bridge Studios, we spotted where these two doves spend their evenings. During the day, they sit on a lamppost close by and coo the day away.

At night, from a distance, these mannequins in the hair and make-up trailer were, well, kinda creepy.

Junior came over on the week-end to watch a little NFL football action. That gave us a chance to try another one of the Sake bottles that Ritsue brought me in August.
A bleak start to this day at the studio.

The cell phone waiting area at Vancouver International Airport, passing time before I swoop in for a new guest star pick-up.

Episode 209, we are on the road more than we have been on any other episode this season. Today we took over the streets of Port Coqutilam.

There was a driving scene, and that involved this camera car, which followed the vehicle with crew, as well as the director and writer.

This bad boy is custom built to carry a camera to chase and be around the picture vehicle in the scene.

Most of this week was really, really early cast pick-ups. (This day I was on Beatty Street at 5 a.m.)

Deja-vu! (reminds me of my old bus driving days). A tiny bit of a spoiler alert. Today I was called into action to be a transit bus driver in one of the scenes outside of Vancouver Community College. (Part of the hospital in the show)

It was a lot of fun. On action, I would pull away from the bus stop, go a block, then back up and do it all again, about 20 times.

I never liked driving bus in the real world, but its ok in make-believe land.

Then it was over, time to hunker down for another fraturday.

Happy Thanksgiving! It was nice to be invited to my brother's place for a traditional thanksgiving dinner with his family.
this week on the web...…..
