A quiet week...

It was a quiet week on the Good Doctor, we were only filming for 3 days this week. Without giving anything away, we scouted out some homes in the Shaughnessy neighbourhood in Vancouver, which may or may not be the home of one of the surgeons this season.
Look who's back! There's Tina, the head of the make-up department and her dog Joe. Joe is the calmest dog I have ever seen, we love Joe!

The fringe benefits. Our new craft service person, who we affectionately call Kelly Crafty, made this unbelievable poke bowl snack for the cast and crew. (Craft service provides snacks and drinks through out the day. They are also the first aid people for the set.)

It was an easy week, it looks like a fraturday be a happening, but this was about 10 p.m. on the
Friday, and we were wrapped! Woohoo!

The final drop of the film drives for the week, episode 201 (first episode of the second season is almost done)

Saturday night I had a chance to go see the Vancouver Canadians single A baseball team play the Spokane Indians at        Nat Bailey Stadium. What a great way to spend a summer night. The stadium hold 5,000 people and it is always close to or completely sold out.

My good friend Ron, joined me for a night of hot dogs, peanuts, and , of course, refreshments. (beer)

The home team did not disappoint, beating Spokane 7-3.

On a hot humid Sunday, junior and I decided tennis was a good idea. (what is that old saying?, oh ya, "only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun."

Meanwhile, back in Japan, they were having terrible rain, storms, and typhoons. Ritsue sent me a weather map of the storms progress. There was a lot of flooding and damage in Hiroshima, but thankfully she, and her home, were OK.

She sent me a picture of her friend outside of her house which was completely surrounded by water. Over 200 people have died so far.
I downloaded a couple of pictures off the web showing some of the devastation.

Now to lighten it up with some stuff from the web.

I saw that on t.v. live, if you haven't seen it google it, he should get a razzy for the worst performance!
