Wayward Pines Episodes 201 and 202

Could it finally be spring? (sans rain?)
This week was the finishing touches of episode 201 and the beginning of episode 202 on Wayward Pines. I was looking online and found a couple of shots from last year that is certainly making me more and more curious about the show. Here Meagan Fisher (played by Hope Davis) teaches the "new generation" about the history of Wayward Pines..........
as they spend their days at the Wayward Pines Academy. (apparently the original generation is still kept in the dark about the town's dark and mysterious history.)
Move that lighting lift out of the way!, it's blocking my view of Riverview and beautiful clouds beyond.
It did serve a purpose though, lighting up the front of the building for a night shot.
Making a pick-up at Sim Video for the camera department I ran into, I mean bumped into, I mean saw another Ford Flex brother, they must be the same brood, the license plates are only one number off.
and then we were back at the Main Street set of Wayward Pines. I'm not allowed to take pictures from the street, so the closest I could get was the back wall of one of the buildings supporting some of the electrical panels.
So many different ways to approach downtown Vancouver, this time I am cruising, (well, crawling) down East Hastings street, by Nanaimo Ave.
A 2 minute "pic" stop  down by the sea bus terminal
Looking past Canada Place at the snow-capped North Shore mountains.
Well you don't see this every day. Back at the costume office it was time to dry the paint on the "abbie" creature footwear. (you can see one on the last pic on my last blog.)
and you don't see this too often as well. Back at the stage the boulders have to be sorted and stored, of course!
as the week went on and the weather brightened , I pick-up one of the guest stars at a residence by David Lam Park in False Creek. A view across to the Granville Street Bridge and Granville Island
Now that's more spring like it!
Look up, wayyyyyyyyyyy up, he's in there somewhere.
A brilliant sunny day. (unless your afraid of those chemtrails)

There was a big scene in Robert Burnaby Park, where they have built a prison gate for the scene. The  "abbies" are trying to escape over the wall. (cannot say much else). Unfortunately I was ill and missed the entire day. So I have added some extra footage of some behind the scenes filming from movies of old. (borrowed off the web, of course.)

a little King Kong
 a little Gozilla
 Freddy Krueger
 Jurassic Park
Goldfinger

 you know
 the Shining
Spielberg hanging out.
