Two backs make a right......

The end of season 5 of the Good Doctor. The final day buffet was amazing as per usual! Two backs? One is I'm back blogging. Two is Ritsue is back after going home to Hiroshima for one month.

Well, the cherry blossoms have come and gone........
Wow, Ritsue leaving for Hiroshima, well over a month ago.......
.......and there she went.
One of the last times waiting in Yaletown for the executive producer this season.......
Pretty sad to come home to find someone broke into our condo lobby and stole all the mail from the mailboxes.
You never know what you are going to see at the studio.....
......and the prosthetic version.
A chance for a beverage at Main Street Brewing with sonny boy and Yani, bro and Doris.
.
More end of season treats, this time the Rocky Point Ice Cream truck!
.....random, crazy spring weather, above the studio, pic.........
Thank-you Kelly (snack-truck) for the refreshing ice tea.
I had to go into the make-up fx trailer, man some of the dummies in there look real!
Fellow cast driving peep Laura getting a little close to the circus.
......okay, this was the last time I waited for the producer in Yaletown, lol.
Later on, hanging on Homer St........
...........and finally, the hanging out by my favourite dumpsters in Yaletown, pic.
Fellow Teamster cast driving peep Sanjay having a little fun with Laura.
I tried not to go too crazy on the end of the season meal, but man, I'm only human! Sooooooooooo gooooooooooood!
A couple of end of the season gifts. A little bubbly for the cast drivers from Christina. Freddie's very thoughtful gift was this 2011 Masi Campolongo Di Torbe red wine. Will definitely save for a special occasion.
The zoom in on the dent in fellow cast driving peep Jesse's vehicle, mind-bending, swirly pic.
A small price to pay for how grateful I am to our catering and snack truck crews. A bottle of wine is the least I can do to show my appreciation.
More end of season treats! This time the ice cream sandwich truck. (I chose the chocolate mint, yum-yum)
Not much of a view here, but interesting enough, as I wait for a cast member.
Spring has sprung.....
The mighty Teamsters getting together to thank captain Mike for doing such an awesome job this season.
.....we awarded him the Captain's cup...(along with a couple of refreshments)
..junior and I hanging at Wings on a Saturday night......(the I wish you were beer pic)
Finally, after more than 2 years, the cruise ships have returned to Vancouver.
.....one of our wrap days, here's me hauling some grip gear, just like junior, hyuk.
....and that's a wrap on season 5 at San Jose St. Bonaventure hospital.
....pretty quiet around the Bridge Studios.
In the meantime, Ritsue has returned from Japan, and look at the goodies she has brought back......
......now if only I could read Japanese....
Catering was kind enough to serve lunch during wrap days. This was my last freebie lunch of season 5,
Ritsue had a great view of Mt. Fuji while riding on the Shinkansen. (bullet train)
Yay! Nailed it! (Canada's version of Wordle)
One of our last filming days! Really? End of April?
.....and hail as well, yuck!
Junior is getting quite adept with his new camera....
When Ritsue visited her family grave site in Japan she was greeted by these guys.....
.....some people think it is a good omen.....
.....and there she is getting ready for a Hiroshima Carp baseball game!
Looks like a lovely night for a game!
Random, end of season 5, kick off my shoes, I'm really pooped, pic.
Ha! Fellow Teamster peep Bob's emoji showing me some love. (no offense taken on this one)
Say vaaaatttttt? Timmie's for sale in Japan? Whouda thunk it.
Dr. Lim's Unbirthday. This was joke between Kelly, the snack truck/craft service/first aid person and Christina. (Something to do with the fact her birthday is never when we are filming the show.) Now the pasta styled cake with chocolate meat balls? (another private joke between the two, depends on how one says pasta??)

....meanwhile, back in Summerland, junior and family friend perched high above Trout Creek.
