12 days a week....

Episode 415 of the Good Doctor. It's been a long time since we've spent a day at the San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. (Surrey city hall).

Waiting to pick-up Dr. Browne, facing west, looking east in my rear-view mirror. The sun was rising on another week of filming. (episodes 415 and 416)
Finally, after nearly 2 months of inconvenience (mostly to Ritsue) and X amount of money, the condo bathroom reno is complete.
The random, how wide is that tube, can we use it on the shower rack to protect the glass door, pic.
Heading north on Cambie towards downtown, time for another cast pick-up.
Tried to take a pic of the enormous and depressing homeless camp in Strathcona Park. The amount of filth and garbage is very concerning.
Round and round, an early morning trip across the Cambie bridge to pick-up one of the new guest stars.
Waiting for cast in the Mt. Pleasant neigbourhood, my view isn't always so beautiful.
Mt. Pleasant is home to many murals.
Random, manhole cover art, pic.
I did a favor for fellow cast driving peep Jim, and he rewarded me with these 2 cans of hard to get Langara Fishing Adventures salmon.
Must be dusk at the Bridge studios, the ominous crows are back.
Another double-up day on the Good Doctor, filming the last day of 414 and the first day of 415. (8 days to film each episode)
The sun is up on day, um, I can't remember, it's all a blur, but it's one of the 12 days I worked in a row on the show.
What a nice surprise! My niece Megan came to check out a condo for sale in my building, and stopped by for a visit.
Meanwhile, on stage 10 at the Bridge Studios, construction continues for the show "Midnight Club."
They also have stage 11 as well.
Ha, I think this episode is about me!
Sitting in bewilderment waiting to pick-up Dr. Reznick. 5 a.m?, really!?
Waiting to pick-up the Good Doctor himself on Beatty Street. (there's a story there that I can't share) There is the familiar Woodward's W that I saw so many times when he used to live here during Season One.
One of the guest stars for episode 415, Elizabeth Rodriguez, was staying at this funky old glass factory in Strathcona.
What a beautiful neighbourhood.
Back at the studio, time to wash the tires.........
......gotta look sharp for the Good Doctor!
Waiting, this time at Olympic village. It was the warmest day of the year so far, and the people were out in full force. Be careful, everyone!
The director of episode 414 hired the Charlie Bar coffee truck to treat us all........
.......as well as the director of episode 415. Yes, I know, we are so spoiled.
Day 7 of 12 in a row was moving day. On this Sunday we had to move all the vehicles and equipment from the Bridge Studios to Surrey. Round 1 for me was taking the all important washroom trailer.
Fun! Round 2 was taking this fire truck to Surrey........
.......and round 3 was moving this bus. All totalled, ten of us moved close to 50 pieces of equipment.
Not much going on on Homer St. at 6 in the morning, I noticed, as I waited.....
......to take the guest star to our base camp at a school in Surrey. We spent half the day filming in a parking lot, and half the day at Surrey City Hall.
Dropping off dry cleaning in North Vancouver, it was already late enough, and getting boxed in by this train didn't help.
Early morning, keeping my eye on the red door for Elizabeth, pic.
Lots of cast in on this day, lots of driving for the cast drivers, lol.
On this day, I had to bring Dr. Browne to the ADR (automated digital replacement) truck, to re-record some of her dialogue from scenes that have already been filmed.
One of the duties, taking this transmitter to Trew Audio for repair, on behalf of the sound department.
The attention to detail on the Good Doctor sets is very impressive.
......all is quiet in ER, but not for long.......
......I don't get to be on set this season due to covid protocol, so I wait outside, watching the rain...
I don't care what anyone says, it looks like a dinosaur to me!

Down at the Teamster 155 union office, security camera shot of myself, pic.

This poor guy isn't feeling himself........
......and hasn't touched any of his food, lol.
Up in the 4th floor offices watching the red light flashing on set, hoping this Friday night doesn't turn into another Fraturday.
Saint Patrick's day. While I was at work, Ritsue was enjoying the frosty cold green beer. No fair!
Outside my condo, always some sort of incident at the social housing towers across the way.
One last, waiting for Reznick, misty view of Burrard Inlet, pic.
Lots of hype about the upcoming episodes. Stay tuned!
