The Good Doctor, episode 318

The week started with a visit to the 2020 Chinese New Year's parade in Chinatown.
Ritsue, as we disembark the sky-train.

The parade had the leader of the NDP party, Jasmeet Singh, and independent MP, Jody Wilson-Raybould joining in.

It was an entertaining affair.

Many Chinese dragons in the year of the rat.

It went on for a good hour and a half.

This old transit bus reminded me of one I used to drive back in Penticton, many, many moons ago.

This was the one we were waiting for, and there she is...….

.......Doris, in the parade with her sister June, representing their community.
As we left we went past the finish area, which was even more crowded than at the start where we were watching.

......and later that night we saw that we made the news! (of course we had to rewind and freeze frame many times to see ourselves, lol)

….and then it was Monday morning. Standing by at Granville Island. (I had an early morning cast pick-up close by.)

On the boardwalk, this was pretty cool. (not sure what it was about, though). It was also pretty cool to be the only one walking around Granville Island at this time of the morning.
Standing by a couple of times this week to pick-up Dr. Reznick. This little beach is close to her place in Kitsilano. One day the tide was going out......

…….and one day the tide was in.
We are well into filming the 18th episode of season 3 of the Good Doctor. (only two more to go!)
On this day I was hanging in one of the alleys downtown, waiting for the Good Doctor himself.

Waiting for cast at base camp at the Bridge studios, is this truck really going to dump that bin so close to me? (yes, it did and I moved away until he was finished playing.)

Standing by, bored, hey that looks like a fist, pic.

More rain this week, and more stuck in traffic. (This time heading west on Broadway in Kitsilano.)

Is this a sign spring is getting closer?
A lonely feeling at the studio on this terribly rainy day.. No one was going outside unless absolutely necessary. (..and that means I did not leave my cast vehicle very often either...)

Heading into a mini Fraturday, sitting between the stages, the rain made it all a blur.
On the t.v., this is what you would see on the Good Doctor, Dr. Carly Lever and Dr. Shaun Murphy having an awkward moment in an elevator at the hospital...….

……..but on set, there are some more jovial moments.
