......aaannnnnnddddddd we're back!

The Good Doctor returns tomorrow night, January 13th, after a long hiatus.
Congratulations to Freddie Highmore, who is directing the episode that we are currently filming.
It was a great break, and Ritsue made some great dishes.

A blast from the past. I was rearranging my storage and came across some boxes that contained a lot of drawings from the kids back in the day.

Over the break we went with some friends to Cirque du Soleil's Luzia.

It was very impressive, the performers were so talented.

The tents were right across from Science World.

Cheers to a good break!

I'm seeing new foods at my place all the time. Look at the size of that gobo root.

New Year's eve traditional Japanese feast.

Nailed it!

Followed by the traditional Japanese New Year's day feast!

Went and had lunch at the Jade Dynasty restaurant in Chinatown.....

….with Skip and Doris, oh man, another feast, this time dim sum.

One last trip downtown before work next week. I recommend the yorkies at the Black Frog Eatery in Gastown.

The Leckie building in Gastown.

Tourists in our own town at the Steam Clock.
Then it was time to go back to the Good Doctor. The big question for the fans is whether or not the Good Doctor will choose his roommate Lea (Paige Spara)…… or

...Dr. Carly Lever. (Jasika Nicole) Stay tuned!
Dusk at the Bridge, these crows are getting out of hand! Landing on our cast vehicles? The nerve!

One day last week we filmed a scene with Dr. Glassman and Dr. Murphy outside of the old R.C.M.P. training facility in Kitsilano.

Down on Homer street, awaiting my cast pick-up.

I was sent to the payroll company to pick-up cheques. Not even surprised that I was picking up for the next project for Brightlight pictures.

Getting back into "standing by" mode at the Bridge studios.

Friday, our first snowfall of winter made the morning commute a little (actually, a lot) longer.

We were filming at this bowling alley on Kingsway in Burnaby, and for awhile, it was really coming down.
….and then back to the Bridge studios, and the rain...….

…...and our first fraturday of the year!

Memories of the hiatus, hanging at the Black Frog with Doris and Skipper.
…….and back home, someone is embracing being in Canada, eh?
