Upload, episodes 105 and 106 continued....

It's cherry blossom time!.....
…...and it's also cherry blossom time in Hiroshima. Ritsue sent me this pic.
….and she also sent me this picture of this adorable panda she went to see in Osaka.
Early cast pick-up at the Sutton for the new Amazon t.v. series, Upload. The xmas lights were illuminating the cherry blossoms, very festive.

Another transport 911, getting one of the cast's (Zainab Johnson) make-up bag to set.

Fellow cast driver peep, Marianna, trying out her new mini harp. (A blurry pic, but a beautiful sound.)

It's been awhile, but reunited again with the East Lawn building at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam.

First scene of the day was out in the parking lot above East Lawn.

Incredible native art by the domestic arrivals at Vancouver International airport. Today, I was picking up the director for episodes 109 and 110.

Back at Riverview, my attempt at an artistic contrast between man and nature?
I think the view of Mount Baker from Riverview is even better than from my place.

There's the lights, the camera and action are inside.

Oh ya, another, when will this night end, staring at a brick wall shot.
(All in all, you're just another brick in the wall...…..right?)

The light showing the way to another fraturday.

On this day, I had to take a director down to the Peace Arch border crossing at Washington State to do a "flagpole".
(She is an Australian citizen, and needs a work permit to direct her episodes here in Canada). (The flagpole part is going into the United States, and being turned around at customs and sent back to the Canadian customs to get the permit.)

For a brief moment we were straddling the border between Canada and the U.S.
(which is fitting, being both Canadian and U.S. citizen myself).

On the web, a leap of faith...

I'm sure whoever built this was told more than once it cannot be done.

The exuberance of youth, getting ready for another hangover, lol.

The smile may be gone very shortly.

That's tragedy right there.
