the star of the show........

The annual, visit Sis 'n' Unk in Summerland, visit loved ones at the Penticton Cemetery, that's quite a view looking north, pic.

Ritsue has been waiting a whole year to get the chance to find worms for their chickens.

Pets that give eggs, can't beat that!
A Canadian thang? Ritsue had never tried 5 pin bowling before, so when in Rome.......
Sis was dialed in, and basically kicked our buttocks.
5 pin bowling's most wanted.......
Unk was busy while we were away, never stops surprising.........
That is what you get when you have happy chickens......whoa!
A quick trip up to Summerland Sweets to replenish our syrup stock. (......such a poser!)
Day 2, Ritsue is starting to attract a "fowl" crowd, hyuk..
One of the nicest (and quietest) beaches on Okanagan Lake. (Where?, hmnnnn....)
......there she is........
.....the star of the show had another surprise....
That's a fair size garlic right there, I'll tell you what......
On the way back to Burnaby we stopped by Sumallo Grove on the Hope-Princeton Highway. Ritsue said she had never set foot in a river, so to the Skagit River we went, where she set foot, actually feet.
Cool......
The next morning at home, it was time to make an Omelette. I wonder which 2 eggs came from the happy chickens? Thanks Sis and Unk, worth the trip in more ways than just for the shell of it, and that's no yolk!
