Take me way out to the ball game........

Oracle Park in San Francisco, home of the Giants. A little longer commute than our usual 2 or 3 times a year visit to Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver to see the Canadians.

Waiting at YVR, there's our ride.
Back at Union Square in San Francisco, haven't been in the area since way, way back in May of 2022.
Across Bush Street from our hotel, we found our newest favouritist place to hang, the Roxanne Cafe.
We could watch the cable cars go up and down Powell St. (We thought about it, but wasn't on this trek's itinerary.)
OMG! Watched a lot of Waymo driverless vehicles ripping around San Fran. I signed up for the app, but alas, also wasn't on this trip's schedule.
..... but seeing this Willie Mays statue was!
...... Oracle Park, baby! (The before we got in pic..... (continued in 2 pics.)
This will be a funny memory. I thought I did my homework when I bought the tickets months ago. Turns out our seats were in the sun (1 p.m. game). I went to the box office and they traded our tickets for ones a bit higher up, but covered in the shade. A shoutout to them!
......and the after we got in pic. (ya, with the exchange from Canadian dollars to U.S dollars, well, it was a pricey, but worth it, spur of the moment purchase.)
That can only mean one thing!
Yes, the Giant were taking on the Toronto Blue Jays, which we are fans of.
Score!
Well, kinda of hard to cheer for the Jays with our Giants gear on. (We did so quietly.)
After the game we went for a little stroll around Chinatown.

Yay! Last time I saw one of these was in the movie "Big." He did promise Ritsue good fortune, so bring it on!
All that watchin' and wondering makes one awfully hungry, and thirsty. So back to the Roxanne Cafe we went.
Our next game wasn't until the evening, so we had a chance to get out on the water and view the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to Sausalito.
Looking back to San Fran........
...... the second time we've cruised past Alcatraz and didn't stop. (maybe next time)
It was a short ferry ride.....
Interesting to me, was the fog that hung around every morning while we were there.
Hey, pelicans! Don't see those in Vancouver.
...... any chance to pose, lol........ this time with Phil Frank......
..... first look, thinking I saw logs.....
.... a closer inspection gave us a treat to be seeing these guys....
.... what are you looking at?
.... the random, stairway we did not check out, pic.......
..... the not so random, hiding away from all of the other tourists in this narrow shady alley, pic.
Walking, all that walking, sooooooo thirsty......
... ahhh, the perfect respite, at the Barrel House Tavern don't you know......
We're back!, this time for an evening game, and seeing how it was against the Minnesota Twins, it was game on to cheers for our new beloved Giants!
... finally on the cable car..........
..... ya, we're soaking it all in......
..... a lot higher up for this game, we wanted to take advantage of the view. (and a lot cooler, got down to 15 Celsius and a chilly wind as well.)
... it was a lot of fun.
..... ohhhh, there's her inner redneck coming out again..........
So we were 2 for 2. Our Blue Jays won the first day, and our Giants won the next night, yay!
Hanging at the United Airlines lounge at SFO, time to head home.
.... and here comes our plane.
....... a new first! We were in the second row on the plane and managed to get to customs before anyone else, in fact, there was no one else at all, crazy!
