A schedule to keep.......

We were out of time on our little adventure with Auntie, but determined to keep to the schedule and see the ocean, albeit not quite what we were hoping for. The Boundary Bay Dyke Trail in Delta was interesting enough, though.

Well, I will not be buying Samsung again anytime soon. This month has been multiple calls to the Samsung hotline, two visits from the repairman, and still we have issues with the "main power control board"? Don't get me started on the dryer, lol, it has a mind all it's own, either shuts off with the clothes still wet, or stays on until we're close to calling the fire department.

Serenity now! (Burned off a lot of steam going on walks during my work hiatus/retirement.)
We were treated to a wonderful Saturday evening.......
......at fellow Teamster peep Marc's penthouse apartment downtown......
.....for the Celebration of Light fireworks display at English Bay! Wow, what a scene!
Tonight it was the U.K.'s turn to show-off their pyrotechnic skills. (They did, and they won the competition between themselves, Malaysia and Portugal. What a great night hanging with our transport gang and their significant others. Thanks again Marc and Teresa.
Let's tuck in this random, what a night at Glowbal restaurant, thanks again Earth Abides director Stephen Campanelli for the gift certificate, pic.
Another story for another day. Did not quite look the same with my loaner Ford Escape sitting in my parking spot, while my quite larger Ford Expedition was getting some paint touches at the body shop.
A deceiving pic. We were oot and aboot in Vancouver town. We had to meet up with family for lunch and literally had about 10 minutes to get a selfie in at Olympic Village.
Auntie and niece, how sweet.
That was a long day, the last stop was at Boundary Bay.
More selfie time!
The next must on the schedule was a Vancouver Canadians baseball game. Glad bro Skip, and my niece could attend.
Is it just me or does wasabi always seem to win the beloved Sushi races?
On one of my daily walks, new neighbors in the hood.
Yes, we had a lot of fun with these guys on this evening.
