Keep looking.........

Well, this trip started out nice as we departed on the ferry from Tsawwassen.

First stop was in White Rock.....
....to pay our respects and tidy up the grave marker of my grand-parents.
Then we took the can't help ourselves, killing time at a Wal-Mart in Tsawwassen, hey there's us on the check-out register, pic.
Off we go!
We landed in Nanaimo then started making our way north cruising by Union Bay on our way to Comox.
You know what they say, it's not the size of your engine.....
We made a visit to the Comox Air Force Museum. Now why should this poor fellow be in the ejection seat alone?
Yay! Now he has some company for his ride.
Landing at YQQ.....

We went outside to look at some of the vintage aircraft, for August it was a little on the chilly and windy and  rainy side. (Hmnnnn, could this be a town to retire in?)
.....can honestly say I've never seen one of these before.
Wow, now that's old school......
The gunner's seat, I wonder if he had to pay more for this window seat.
We tried to check out the beaches at Courtenay, but it was too miserable that evening.
It was a little brighter the next day when we went to check out the beach at Goose Spit Park in Comox.
Hmmmnnn, do we keep looking, or could this be it?
Selfie time, retire time??
Time to head home. We stopped along the way to check out some of the beaches between Comox and the Nanaimo ferry. This ship hull we saw was is in Deep Bay. (I think.)
Fallish weather cut this stop short.
We tried to get on an earlier ferry than our 8 p.m. reservation, but to no avail. So we found a beach in Nanaimo that we had all to ourselves. A shame the neighborhood was way out of our price range, lol.
Planta Park is open to the public, so all the rich folks can watch us having a glorious afternoon.
Found  many water pools that contained a lot of sea life, including oysters........
......and omg, so many starfish. Keep looking and think about keeping looking? (So exhausting!)
Our time off was most of the summer. Now it was time to strategize with fellow Teamster peep Eugene about our upcoming Netflix show, which we are not allowed to talk about, but goes by the production name Haven Green. September is and has been very busy. Keep looking.
