The afternoon after my walk about we headed to Kojirou Kino Sushi, a favourite sushi shop in the Hatsukaichi neighbourhood.
Guess I'll be trusting Ritsue and her mom on this one......
......was not dissapointed, the bonito was perfect.
.....and the tempura rocked as well.
It's good to be king......
Well now, that looks (and tasted) amazing!
The mission of the day was to go to this special shrine, Hayatani Shrine. It represents the god of travel.
...I recommend going on a weekday in May, you're (at least we were) guaranteed to have the place to yourselves.
Very beautiful outside.......
.....and inside as well. Blessed again.
The goal was receive a new blessed travel lucky charm......
Finished the day off with another walk around Risue's mom's neighbourhood.
The next morning we headed in a different direction.....
Time to park the car and look around for......
It's gotta be around here somewhere.....
If only I could read Japanese......
As interesting as this sign is, that's not what we came for......
We found it, Imosenotaki Falls.
Another recommended trip on a weekday.
Can I use tranquil on this one?
A beauty day.
If you go down the stairs, your must go up. Hey, it was in the shade and was good exercise.
Across the way was Medaki Falls.
Even the stink bugs are more colorful over here.
