Father's day dinner with Ritsue, my daughter and her boyfriend at Arm's Reach Bistro in Deep Cove. Very nice!
It's magical out there, and it was a gorgeous night, unlike the heat wave we are enduring right now....

We spent one night doing the staycation thing, which included this lovely, quite tasty Carpaccio appetizer served at the Dockside restaurant in the Granville Island hotel, where we stayed.

Time for another refreshment break, (and a little dinner...) this time at the very awesome Sandbar restaurant.

A couple of things we picked up at the Granville Island market turned out quite well, if we do say so ourselves. We bought fresh panini bread and made a bun for the chorizo smokies we purchased as well. Oh man! Oishii desu!
....put in a charging port for our new vacuum cleaner in the storage closet. I was a little concerned about drilling holes in the wall so close to the electrical panel. (,,,in the end I took the panel cover off to make sure.....all good.)
Near the end of Good Doctor season 4, fellow Teamster peep John was bouncing his ball at the studio, lol. I accidently (on purpose) kicked it and he was quite distraught, saying he had managed to keep it for almost the entire season. Later that day, I found it, and after about a month I mailed it to him. He got it this week.....
Sent my bro 4 framed pics I took of him in his old Datsun 510 on the backroads of Alberta some 40 years ago. A blur in more ways than one, lol.
Meanwhile, back in Summerland, junior got a really cool pic of the moon.
I always knew there was going to be a season 5 of the Good Doctor, but seeing it posted on the Teamster 155 website makes it a little more official.
