2 months off, where will you Gogh?

We have started my two month hiatus between the Good Doctor season 4 and season 5. Taking it very easy so far. One thing we did Gogh see was the Imagine Van Gogh exhibit at the Vancouver Convention Centre. It was very immersing......

.....and we did go for a walk at one of favourites, Deer Lake Park in Burnaby.
A lovely site or sight, it was.......
Hey, our first turtle sighting of the year!
Week-days off are the best! No heavy bridge traffic, lol.
I asked him/her politely to pose, and was obliged.....
.....always trying to get "that" shot......
......keep trying.......(like a steer?)
Ritsue seeking her perfect pic as well.......
Nice to be smack in the middle of the ever growing metropolis of Burnaby and still not see any hint of urbanization.
Last stop was the infamous Oakalla Prison front steps at the southwest corner of Deer Lake.
.....yes, there were and will be refreshment breaks.......
....my newest invention, the winning $70 million lotto ticket number generator! (Alas, after nearly two weeks, still nobody has won the big prize, maybe Friday!)

When you spend more time at home, you notice the small (or large) things, like the neighbours above cleaning their deck and dumping the dirty water all over my windows and deck.....(tbc....sigh..).....
On our way to go to Gogh, Ritsue had to make a call. (back in time, lol, if you ever get a chance check out the lobby at the Marine Building on Burrard and Hastings downtown, very art deco.)
At the exhibit, looks were beckoning us in.
It was pretty cool, worth the $40 admission. The classical music that played during the showing made it a serene setting.
One of the only times I approved of "man smoking".
.....people were let in in 15 minute increments......
.......a great way to spend an hour.
It was concert time at the Mulberry retirement complex across from our place! We haven't enjoyed one since the covid times of last spring and summer.
One night at my Teamster peep Tracy's house. Him and his buddy had caught some ling cod that day and we were invited over to partake in the feast. (Ritsue was the one who turned it into this mouth watering fare, yum-yum!)
Last Friday night was concert night, covid style. We paid $50 to watch one of my favourites, Blue Rodeo, do a live stream concert from Danforth Hall in Toronto.
Love their music. It was kind of diffrent watch them finish a song to no applause, just them talking amongst themselves. Fun night!
I don't care if I'm the only one laughs at this pic. I have played cribbage since I was a child, and I have never gotten over 24 pts. (out of the possible 29) So to get 28, even if it was online, was a real feat, lol!
Re-visiting the hiking trails of the covid times. Today it was Byrne Creek Park, just below our condo.
Fellow Teamster peep Ron, who also does background work in the film industry (and was a firefighter himself for many years) sent me this pic of him holding the clapboard during the shooting of the season 3 finale of the Good Doctor. (( Dr. Melendez (Nicholas Gonzales) is on the right, wow!
Lots of stories online after the big season 4 finale.

I think she'll be ok, but we will surely and dearly miss her.

That shot was in the hills of Merritt, B.C., aka "Guatemala."
