My parkade view of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Less than two months until the view will be no more.
Only one month ago we battled through Snowmageddon 2024. This was at our circus.
Waiting for cast, it was a beautiful sight at Olympic Village. (At least on this 2nd day people decided to not drive.)
This is not the picture to be on the cover of a Vancouver tourist magazine.
I don't think I've ever seen False Creek freeze up like this, yikes!
A lot of the drivers, for sure........( I ended up spending the night in a hotel just so I could be closer downtown for cast pick-ups the next morning.)
It got milder the next day, albeit foggier.
We had to improvise on this day. We had many cast to drive home at wrap. (Hey, wait a minute, is that Dr. Reznick about to go 4-wheeling?)I doubt the San Jose police would ever be dealing with snow.
Stuck at work on a Saturday, at least I could sneak into one of the cast trailers to check on the score in the NFL play-off football games.
Spent on evening filming a scene at Brix and Mortar restaurant on Hamilton St. in Vancouver.
Standing by, the rain was hypnotizing..........
Spent one evening filming at this condo in Burnaby. They're in there somewhere.
A cold and wet Fraturday was spent outside of the B.C.I.T. Alumni building in Burnaby, which doubled as a Synagogue for that particular episode. (We are currently filming episode 706, just finished episode 705 and are still waiting to finish 704 (actor sickness), and episode 707 starts on Friday, phew!
First time at the Great Bear Pub in Burnaby, loved the Reuben sliders!
On this day we dropped the ball on a pick-up for Lea, so I thought flowers was the least we could do for her.
Waiting down by Coal Harbor to pick-up a local cast memeber.
......at the studio on this evening, just me and my shadow, in the rain.......
This may have broken my old record. The crew and cast on set placed an order at Prado Cafe in Burnaby. Of course the mighty Teamsters were sent to pick them up. 32 coffees in all, don't worry I made sure two of them were for Marc and myself.
Inside stage 11 at the Bridge Studios, construction had begun on a bar to be used for one scene.
You know the old saying, "build it and the mighty Teamsters will come"........
I can't believe they didn't use us in the actual scene!
Next day, all was quiet......
....and a couple days after that, it's just a memory.
One Friday night we hung out on Main St. In Vancouver. No, it wasn't in this nearby church......
....but it was at this furniture store, which doubled as a furniture store for one scene.
B.C. Place lit up in honor of Black History Month.
Back on stage 11, not sure which character is attached to this apartment. Pretty nice digs.
For the uneducated, that is a winning hand in pay cheque poker. ((I hadn't won since season 2, it was definitely my turn. The $540 pot doesn't come close to how much I have donated over the seasons, lol.)( You're hand is decided by the last 3 numbers of the cheque serial number and whatever the cents are on your cheque.))
Rarely the Teamsters go on set, but this Friday night was a special occasion. It was the first A.D. and director of 6 episodes of the Good Doctor, Gary's last evening with us. He is moving on to direct on other shows filming in Vancouver.
It's not the size of your car, it's who's is cleaner. We pulled up besides junior's dirty ride........
To watch one of his hockey games at Canlan Sports Arenas in Burnaby.
Spring is starting to show in Vancouver.
Another wait, another beauty day on False Creek.
Waiting to pick-up an executive producer at Vancouver International Airport, this guy was not afraid of anyone.
We presented Gary (the director and A.D.) with a mighty Teamster safety vest and made him an honorary Teamster, he was thrilled to join our fraternity.
