Upload, episode 107

Another wild week on the new Amazon series "Upload". Not only were we doing two episodes at once on three different days, the weather was far from co-operating. This day at Stanley Park was supposedg to be a lot of exterior shots.

….but just wait a couple of hours, the weather will change. (This was at the Stanley Park Pavilion, just like the first picture, haha.)
Another of the never ending pix of Mount Baker from my balcony.

.
A cooler, misty day at Burnaby Lake, close to our base camp

Early morning in Yaletown, waiting for my cast pic as she was grabbing a coffee.

…...and then a couple of sunny days at Spanish Banks

….but the shooting crew didn't see it, they were filming inside the Chan Centre at the University of British Columbia.
I love this view of Vancouver. Today was a bit different......

…..I have never seen the tide out so far at this location.
….another cast driver 911 delivery, the set did not have their wi-fi hub, oh no! (...the show must go on....)

...far off the shore you can see people way, way out there.

...another feature of Stanley Park.....

….as is this garden....

…..by our base camp, it started to snow! (snowing cherry blossoms that is)

….and still another cast driver 911! It was so chilly on this evening, I was sent out to get the ingredients to make hot chocolate for the crew.
Heading back to set the next day, a really nice view of English Bay looking out west.

Yay! Still at Stanley Park, we had horsies on set!

I was stationed at set to be a warm-up vehicle for the cast. It was a little too close to the action for me.

On Friday, I had a quick chance to check out the set sale from the t.v. show Man in the High Castle, also filmed in Vancouver.

So much to see. I was tempted, but refrained.

… random, the head of the show, Greg Daniels, asked fellow cast peep Marianna to play a song, so she did.

…. oh oh, this night shot of a transit bus lit up outside the stages has all the makings of a Fraturday!

…..yes, I am no detective, but the clock told me it was a Fraturday.

….on the stage, grin and bear it...…. the fraturday that is....

Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, look at this extraordinary sushi dish Ritsue's mother bought her for her birthday.

…..and this yummy looking  dessert!

….is it?

…..aye carumba!

....historic....

.....oh sure, if you have that kind of car.....

....I'm saying staged....
.
....scientists in their own right....

Could not of been the first take....

...the many forms of art....

......i'm sure there is an online story....
