2 down, 16 to go........

Pretty good ending to week 2 of filming of the Good Doctor, season 2.
My daughter and I saw Les Miz, at Queen Elizabeth theatre in Vancouver and it was fantastic!
Another day, another amazing view of Mount Baker from my place.

Early cast pick-up down in Yaletown, so early I seemed to be the only one out and about.
By the end of this blog we will have finished the first two episodes of season 2 of the Good Doctor, and shot one day of the third.

Hanging out at the Bridge studios, where will spend most of our filming days this season.

Safety first in the film industry. Every crew member must have a safety harness when in the cage of the lifts. (does not seem to apply to the Bridge Studio staff, though. 😐)

Always something different in my days work. Today, I had to go pick-up a $1,000 worth of sushi for the cast and crew.

The next day is was Greek pita bread I picked up for the caterers.

Also filming at the Bridge studios was a Disney show. (That's about all I can say about that.)

One of our few on the road days found us taking over this neighbourhood in the Shaughnessy area of Vancouver.

Oh, of course, because it is Friday, day stretched into night......
………..and I stared out the window realizing we were well into another "Fraturday."

By the time I got home, it was just starting to get light out.

Back to the evening of Les Miserables. We found a wonderful restaurant close to the Stadium sky-train station, the Chambar Belgian restaurant. Very good, and excellent presentation points. I had this salmon.

and this veal stuffed calamari, very interesting contrasts of flavour.

My daughter had this stinging nettle curry dish, wow!

Sold-out performance.

Back on set, our caterers were not as subtle as the Chamber restaurant. Those were some big slabs of beef hitting the BBQ.

random, stare at something long enough and you start to find it interesting, shot.

Hanging out at our circus, we spent all of last week at the studio

I had a chance to hit the gym Wednesday morning downtown by the water. This cruise ship was one of three that docked in Vancouver for the day.

Listening to satellite radio in my cast ride and slowly putting my own playlist together.
Back at the stages, this is about all I can show of the offices of the department heads at St. Bonaventure Hospital.

Our transport captain is giving our circus a nice touch with these flowers.

Thursday night at the Bridge studios.

random, water on the windshield of the Producer's Tesla, shot

Just because it's Hawaiian shirt Friday doesn't mean I got any better taking selfies.

The film drives, ready for post production.

There's Ward taking care of his circus garden.

Friday night, I'm listening to the set walkie-talkie, hoping it wont be another Fraturday. (actually, 1 a.m wrap
wasn't too bad)

It's official, I am now the Teamster union representative for the show.

That is incredible!
from the web, who thinks of these things, or an even bigger question, who approves it?

and that could be a lot of guys in Vancouver these days.

I forgot about that, but it was true.

makes me think film set for sure

wow

may not be the cure, but could help you forget for awhile...

Joseph the technicolor pooch?

That is seriously wrong in my opinion.

I'm sure that thing stares at you all night long!

How clever...……

So, so true!

so cool..

why?
