The GD grind...

It's tough in the trenches these days on season three of the Good Doctor, but I'm managing, haha.
(The mighty Teamster's set this up at our base camp at the studio. This little oasis was enjoyed by many cast and crew during our mini heat wave.)
Had a chance to go out for dinner with my daughter at the River's Reach pub in New Westminster.

An early start again, awaiting cast in Yaletown.

Still home in time to see a gorgeous sunset.

Round and round, another day, another trip across the Cambie Bridge...….
……..and another cast pick-up close to Yaletown.

People on set were very respectful of the no parking signs in front of the Facilities Services building. (Although it is a façade, a set for the show, there is nothing but one cement wall of stage 4 behind those doors.)

I would think this is one of my more important duties. Today I had to pick-up  the payroll for the show. (that's a lot of cheques!)

Tried to take a picture of Burrard Inlet from the gym while I was on the treadmill one morning.

Most of our regular cast have their own residences so it isn't very often these days that I get to do a pick-up at the Sutton Place hotel.

30 seconds from the Bridge studios, almost made it!

So, as I have stated before, we sometimes have more downtime than I know what to do with....
let's just call these boredom pics around the studio.

….ha-ha sun-roof pic of the steel beam above....
….and I'll call this "stage 10 meets the sky".

…..another look to the heavens......

…… as I sit on the main street of the studio,.thank goodness it was time to take a cast member home!

Our last scene of the week was out on the road, close to the studio. Not to bad, only a mini Fraturday again, I was home by 2 a.m.!
My fading away to the week-end shot.

On the web, don't know anything about this pic, but I love it!

Where is this???

The GD3 rolls on.......

The cast drivers on the Good Doctor Season 3, are good boys, seeing, hearing, and speaking no evil, hahaha. (fellow Teamster peep Deb took this random shot of myself, Jim, and Greg.)
Waiting for a cast member on one of the shady tree-lined streets in the west end of the Kitsilano neighbourhood.

Later on, waiting for another cast member by Kitsilano beach looking west......

… and looking east towards downtown.

Out on the road, we filmed in Richmond, on the Fraser River
Tonight it was a party scene at the John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse.

Looking north toward the North Shore mountains.

That thing was huge!

There was also some wild rabbits around.

Another one of my duties. Today we were scouting locations for another show that will start filming in Vancouver in September, Firefly Lane. We were in the basement of the CBC building on Hamilton Street.

This looks to me like some ancient camera gear lying around.

Ha Ha, the show was showing me the love, my own monogrammed sandwich!

We also scouted out ocean front homes in West Vancouver.

Haha, I couldn't afford the taxes!

Look at the view!, looking east.....

….ahhhhh, the view from the pool.....

…...and to the west, who gets to live here!?

The flora was quite nice as well.

Next door, why strain yourself, when you can take a freakin glass elevator down to you private ocean oasis!
Looking to the skies, hoping this will not be a late night, and it's only Wednesday!

Waiting downtown on Davie street, until it's time to pick-up the Good Doctor himself.

On this day, the people of the Make a Wish Foundation arrived with a family from Texas. I did not hear all of the details, but it was a young man's wish to visit the set of the Good Doctor. (Apparently he has had 3 open heart surgeries already at his young age.) They spent the day on set, meeting the cast, and he even was put into one of the scenes.)

A first in my career, and thank-you! Our crew call was pulled 2 hours, from what was going to be a late 2:30 p.m. start. They brought it back to 12:30 p.m. way more reasonable.

Thursday night at the Bridge Studios saw a much needed downpour. (It did not last long.)

One of my new cast waiting spots downtown. Not much to see in this alley, but it's where he want to be picked up.

The craft service (snack) team wishing us all a happy B.C. day long week-end.
A delivery to the Good Doctor office. A good view of the stages and North Burnaby.
A little add-on to the building by our stages. They will use this area for a scene tonight. (That's all I can say or show.)

The scene is done and it was like it was never there.
Fellow Teamster peep John driving the bus in on of the scenes on this Friday night. (That is his second time being called into action.)

Fraturday night, I got home to my condo to see quite a police scene out on Kingsway. (Apparently a woman was hit by a vehicle, but eventually got up on her own accord.)
…..on the web, yup.

Does anyone proof-read the banners?

No surprise

Ay Caramba!
