One day.........

Yes, one day, when I'm long gone, this creation I made on my cast ride media screen will be priceless!

 

Spent 10 minutes on a Saturday at BCAA getting my International Driving Permit. May come in handy in the near future, who knows?

In the parking lot was this shiny, black, hey.....wait a minute, that's my new cast ride!

Episode 16 of season 6 had us back at Vancouver Community College for one day, and part of a night.

We were scouting out locations for episode 617. One of them was Snuggle Bugz (I just like saying that) in Coquitlam. This place was huge, this was only one corner of the this baby store.

After the about twice a year, only when you have to, trip to Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, (so many, many people, a little unnerving), a trip to Studio Brewing on the way home was mandatory.

Very cool and windy day at the ole Bridge Studios.

On the road again, this time I hunkered down in Richmond on Alexandra Road......

....waiting for wrap at the Zodiac Karaoke bar. Yay, more Karaoke on the Good Doctor!

Wait a minute, Ritsue was here a minute ago..........

F.Y.I, when this sewer pumper truck shows up at our circus to pump the cast, hair, make-up and wardrobe trailers, it's time to move to another location. The smell is well, just unbearable........

I hate it when the weather man is right. We've know it was going to snow yesterday for about 2 weeks. We were still a little surprised when it came to fruition. They wisely decided to shut down filming early to give people a chance to get home safely. I got the Good Doctor home safely, with only a few snow battle scars. 

Finally home, it was pretty wintery alright.

Season average temperature for this time of year is 9 C or 48 F, yikes!

It did make for a pretty picture this morning.

Meanwhile, back in Summerland, which is where the snow usually is, there's junior going for a ride with Unk in his '59 Apache.

Well, I managed to win the 1st quarter on the Good Doctor Superbowl squares, only cost me $30

Count 'em, that's 8. 8 days I had my call sheet for the Good Lawyer sent out to Langley. We spent those 2 nights at Martini Farms, and 6 at a law office/courtroom set. The Good Doctor/Lawyer episode will air on March 6th. The 5 more to go refers to the fact we only have 5 episodes left to film in season 6.

 

Spent a lot of time hanging out at our Langley base camp.

...but not all the time, lol. Teamster peep John told us about "Fish Addicts", a really cool store about 2 minutes from our circus. We had to go check it out!

Nothing fishy about us going AWOL, lol.

They were sorry to see us go.......

Even closer was the indoor go-cart track. Fellow Teamster peeps Bob, John, Eugene, Myles and Dave were ready to race!

.....and there off! (A lot of bumping and crashing in that race, Teamster testosterone was in play.)

Heading from Langley home, only on a Fraturday do you get the freeway to yourself.

We filmed one day of the Good Lawyer in Burnaby Heights. I found myself parked across from this, wonder what the owner does for living, spooky sculpture.

We used this house all day and into the night.

So many views of Vancouver from up here.

We've been away so long, St. Bonaventure hospital lies dormant.

Well this soup and sandwich has been sitting so long,  they don't even look real anymore, hyuk.

The shout out to Portobello restaurant in Burnaby, the clam linguine was quite tasty, pic.

They did not skimp on the shrimp, I mean clams.

Well, well, well, look who Ritsue bumped into at the Nikkei Centre. Tamlyn Tomita (who played Allegra Aoki on the first 2 seasons of the Good Doctor) was here acting on another series, Dead Boy Detectives. We sure miss her on the show.
