Last week-end Ritsue and I had a chance to stroll around False Creek.....

...........it was a gorgeous fall day.....

We had a beer and some deep fried asparagus at the Yaletown Brewing Company.

Then we headed over to watch the B.C. Lions play their last football game of the season. Thank goodness, because they played terrible all season, and this game was no exception. The best part of the game was the half-time show honoring Canada's armed forces veterans.

After the game we went for a drink at my niece's new condo. Quite the view from their deck.

There is Ed Rocker, arguably the most well know background performer in Vancouver! He has spent many days on the Good Doctor in the 3 seasons that it has been filming.

Another day, another wait in Kitsilano. Today I was facing east towards downtown.

....and a post from my sister-in-law Carmen from the Lion's game. The good company made up for the outcome of the game.

The Good Doctor, episode 312

Continuing on the 12th episode of the 3rd season of the Good Doctor. The sky at the Bridge Studio cannot make up it's mind whether we will have a Fraturday or not. (On this Friday, we did not!)

The week-end prior, we had the privilege to see this one man play starring Joel De La Fuente. He was amazing. He basically had a 90 minute monologue that was absolutely riveting. Hold These Truths, a story of one man's fight against the government's internment of Japanese Americans.

Another week, another car wash, It's the Good Doctor, we have to keep our squeaky clean image!

One of my main, waiting for cast, hangouts this season, Homer street, downtown Vancouver.

Taking the film drives to the download location in Kitsilano.

On this day, I was waiting for Daniel Dae Kim to arrive on a connecting flight coming from Seattle.

This was the scene at Vancouver International Airport that day. I have not seen it so quiet in recent memory. Daniel was off the plane, in the car, and at the hotel downtown in 39 minutes! (a new record for me in the cast driving world)

Someone got down on their knees to photograph the carpet at arrivals. All I can see is ground in dirt.

Parked on set. In my rear view mirror I cans see the Good Doctor himself, Freddie Highmore, and the director, Nestor Carbonell, having a chat. They worked together as actors on the hit series Bates Motel.

Our transport captain, Ward, is definitely the crow whisperer at the Bridge Studios.

One night we filmed by Olympic Village. A cold, but cool view of the downtown core.

Down at False Creek on this morning, talk about being at the right place at the right time!

This week included Halloween. A lot of the crew got into it, including our 3rd assistant director Jasmin, and the truck wardrobe person, Natalya.

One of the production assistants on the Bridge Studio lot really nailed it!

This morning, the cast wait was in Yaletown.

I'm glad there is a holder for my phone and radios in the Bridge Studio gym. I had a small window of time to use this pulley machine.
