Good Doctor, episode 304

What a lovely outing, haha, with junior, my bro Skip, and his lady Doris.
We went to another Vancouver Canadians baseball game, this time on a Sunday afternoon.  (bonus, the home team won again!)

A lovely start to the week. (sunrise at False Creek.)

As a cast driver, you always feel like number one when you get the most coveted parking spot at Vancouver International Airport. (Right outside arrivals!)
Today, was the quietest I have ever seen it at arrivals. (The executive I picked up came out in record time.)

The next day, same time, it was very busy. ( There was even a mini traffic jam getting out of the airport.)

Back at the Bridge Studios, more standing by time. This was the bored, take a picture inside of a traffic pylon, pic.

Mid-week dentist appt. pic of my x-rays.
One morning I had to take Dr. Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) and his family to the airport. Here I am hanging in one of the finer alleys of the Kitsilano neighbourhood.

Teamster peep Eugene came along, to take their pups to doggie day-care.

A new view as I awaited a cast pick-up at the Sutton Hotel. The front of the hotel was so full of cast vehicles from other shows, that I was relegated to the street. (Burrard.)

Late at night, once again bored, taking a reflective picture of my cast ride, pic.

Another cast pick-up, this time close to Kits beach, looking across to Stanley Park.

Friday I had time to kill before picking up the Good Doctor himself, Freddie Highmore. I had a chance to stroll around the Roundhouse community centre in Yaletown.
Another gem of downtown Vancouver.

It was a stones throw away from False Creek.

That same Friday, we finished our week off at the New Westminster city hall. This was not a Fraturday!, we were done by 11 p.m., bonus!

GD S3 epidsode 302

The sun sets on another week of filming of the Good Doctor season 3.
I do not have much of a green thumb, so it was nice to see my cherry tomato plant start to produce!

We were back at this old apartment in New Westminster. Yes, no parking, but that doesn't apply to me, haha, I have film immunity!

Teamster peep Eugene is getting a little too comfortable close to set.

We had a raccoon family come for a visit today.

Thank-you Myah from the camera department for making name tags for my radios.

Waiting on Homer for a cast pick-up. A little much needed rain for this city.

The rain didn't last long, and all was well at our base camp at The Bridge Studios.

I tried to get a good pic of this ladybug on my cast car, but it was moving too fast!

I like this pic. In front is a shuttle bus, in the back, base camp. In the middle, the front end of our cable truck. (I thought it was another bored, downtime clever pic.)
…..and at the same time, taking a close-up picture of the asphalt seemed appropriate.

Fraturday night, the crew was rigging up the "process trailer". On the day (night) it will tow the tesla around the streets of Burnaby with the cast inside.

….and there goes the cast. (I'll call this Friday night a mini fraturday, only 26:18 (2:18 a.m.)

On the web.... atta girl!

The Good Doctor episode 303 and 302

I have stated before, my job involves a lot of downtime. (enough time to make sure this pic of stage 4 and the sky went corner to corner, phew!)
A flashback to the start of season 3 of  The Good Doctor. The first table read (of the script) this season. Left to right Paige (Lea), Freddie (Shaun), Antonia (Claire), Hill (Marcus) and Tamlyn  (Allegra).
...and the second table read, with Christina (Audrey), Will (Alex), Hill, Fiona (Morgan), Antonia, Freddie, and Nicolas (Neil).
Our Teamster union had a Sunday picnic for families of our film union. One of the shows provided this skookum trailer, that when extended turned into...…..
….this nifty lunch room. They say it is great to use when a show is on the road, and when weather is bad.

One of our cast drivers, Maryanna, got up on stage to provide a little entertainment.

On the way home, I had to stop at Metrotown Mall. I will not make the same mistake twice! I took a pic of where I parked, because this place is so huge, I actually could not find my car on another visit here.

Well, this is how the week started. I thought I was in trouble with this bolt in my tire.....

….but the tire store pulled it out, and it had not punctured the tire.

Trying to get creative. Waiting to pick up a cast member in the East Vancouver neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant

A nice touch by our transport captain, Ward. The flowers in front of our base camp are much appreciated.
My go to route to downtown these days, through Chinatown.

Hanging out on Robson Street. I'm early for my cast pick-up......

…..at the Sutton Place Hotel.

Dropped the cast off outside this old apartment in New Westminster.

Looks bigger from this angle.

I polished my cast ride today, hey! I can see myself.

My vigil outside of stage 2 on another fraturday night.

Oh ya, Starbucks nails it again. I say Monty, they say Mounty!
